We had a fantastic turnout at the ’24 Bike Rodeo held at the Mitchell County Library on Monday, June 17th. TxDot set up an impressive bike safety course and generously distributed 26 new helmets. We were thrilled to have 49 kids and 42 adults attend. Those who brought their helmets received proper fittings. A big thanks to TxDot’s Jill Christi and team for their invaluable partnership, and to Lori Stephens at the Library for warmly hosting us again this summer.

On Wednesday, June 19th, we hosted a Carseat Check-up in collaboration with our partners at TxDot. We checked 15 cars, inspected 27 seats, and distributed 20 new seats ranging from infants to boosters. We also reclaimed 9 seats, and we’re grateful for the fantastic turnout.
